T-Mobile Flex-T Price Plans - The Choice is Yours by Mark Hirst

Although they weren't the first network to offer flexible price plans that offer subscribers the chance to personalise their allowances of minutes to meet their own needs, T-Mobile have arguably been the most successful network in offering the service, and with the addition of Web and Walk, Flex-T plans offer a great solution for almost any subscriber.

The way in which Flex-T works is that users pay an annual monthly fee as they do with most plans, however rather than being given a fixed allowance of minutes or text messages, they are given a fixed amount of credit which they can use however they choose.

The entry level plan is Flex 20, which usually costs twenty pounds per month. This offers users enough credit to make up to 300 minutes of calls each month, or send 600 text messages, or any combination of the two. For example, you would be able to make calls for 150 minutes, and potentially have enough credit left to send 300 text messages. Obviously, the calls are based on use at off peak times, although T Mobile also offer add-ons to the basic package which allow subscribers to have free weekend calls.

There are a total of 6 different plans available up to the Flex 75, which costs seventy five pounds a month, and includes 390 pounds worth of credit - enough to send around 3900 text messages, or make calls for up to 1950 minutes. This plan is aimed at very heavy phone users!

The Web and Walk add on for T Mobile allows you get unlimited access to the mobile web through your phone and access sites like Google, MSN, and Channel 4 to get the latest news, find information, or even book cinema tickets.

You can download ring tones at a small charge from the official T-Mobile website, but anything from the regular web is available as part of the service. Web and Walk costs an additional seven pounds a month, and is well worth the money if you use Messenger or any of the other services a great deal.

If the Flex T plans do not suit your needs, you could always choose one of the T Mobile off peak plans, which are aimed at people who rarely use their mobiles during the day. These plans allow you to make all off peak calls free of charge, which is perfect for weekend users.
