Everything You Could Possible Want To Know About Apple's New Iphone by Zach Ford
It's no secret, Apple has an amazing track record with portable electronic devices. Their major success with the iPod, the world's most popular MP3 player, has launched them from alternative computer manufacturer to electronics super power. So what does an electronics super power do next? Take over the cell phone market of course.
In the highly competitive cell phone industry, manufacturers must either evolve quickly or fade into history. It seems like the most popular way to make your phone stand out from the pack is to include more and more extra features. Color screens (the bigger the better), higher resolution digital cameras, MP3 playback, video, internet browser, the list goes on and on. But to combine all of these things and do it in a sleek and intelligent way is something no one has truly done... until now!
The new iPhone will come loaded with all of the latest intelligent technology available. Running a robust Mac OS it will be able to access all of the latest internet, video, game, and office programs. The iPhone will come equipped with a gorgeous 3.5 inch touch screen display, 2 megapixle camera, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, and be capable of conference calling and multimedia messaging. All of this will be controlled by the iPhone's amazing touch screen interface, no stylus or buttons needed!
The Apple iPhone will be offered in two different flavors. A 4GB version of the iPhone will be available for $499 after signing a two year contract, and if you want more space for all your videos, documents, and photos, an 8GB version is also available for an extra $100. It is not known at this time how much iPhones with no attached carrier/contract will be selling for, but expect to be dishing out quite a bit on eBay, if you are lucky enough to find one.
Expensive? Yes. But when you consider that you are not only buying a cellphone, but also a MP3 player, PDA, digital camera, and portable media viewer, the Apple iPhone suddenly seems like quite a bargain! Expect to see the iPhone everywhere midway through June 2007.
