Sony Ericsson K810i Mobile Phone Review by Mark Hirst
The Sony Ericsson K810i is an updated version of the popular K800 model, which offers a number of upgraded features across all the functions of the phone, and offers customers the chance to enjoy everything that the previous model offered, but in a slightly lighter, and more user friendly package.
The K810i has everything that you need in order to communicate wherever you are in the world. Full voice calling features are integrated with a twin camera system for easy video calling over a suitably equipped 3G network, and you can send text, picture, and even video messages using the phone's simple to navigate menu driven operating system.
As with all Sony Ericsson Mobile phones, the K810i features an enviable multi media suite that allows you to listen to music, watch videos, and browse your photo collection directly through the handset. Despite its light weight of just 115g, the K810i features all the features that you could possibly need to stay in touch including a high quality 3.2 mega pixel camera, which takes high quality snaps that you can transfer to your computer using the integrated Bluetooth wireless system.
With 3G data transfer offering broadband style internet connectivity, you can use the K810i to access the whole of the internet and download files such as ring tones directly to your phone at lightning speed. By connecting through the 3G network, depending on your mobile phone company, you will also be able to access a range of sites including news and entertainment, as well as the search functions of Google and Yahoo!
The K810i is so integrated with the web, that it offers a whole suite of tools to make accessing the web even more simple than usual. You can chat to friends and colleagues using an Instant messenger client, read your emails on the go, and even keep up to date with your favourite news feeds by using the built in RSS aggregator, and update your own personal weblog with photos and text directly from the Sony Ericsson K810i mobile.
Because of the tie up with Sony, and access to the leading entertainment company's walkman expertise, this phone is great for listening to music, and has a built in MP3 player, with memory expandable to around 2GB with the Mini SD card slot in the side of the unit. You can store around 500 tunes on the phone and memory card, making it the ideal go anywhere multi media device.
