Who Is This King Harald Bluetooth The 1st? How Does He Relate to My Wireless Communication? by Deryl Hand
I Bet You Will Never Look at a Bluetooth Gadget the Same Again Harald Bluetooth was the first king to unite Norway, Sweden, Denmark under one flag even if it was for a short time. Doesn't it sound like the modern Bluetooth uniting devices all over the world. He brought Christianity to those peoples in the Mid to late 10Th century. His mother was a christian sympathizer, but his father was a Pagan that was devoted to Odin. Their religious differences was a constant problem, in the end his mother (mother=bluetooth stack) won out. (sounds like a pairing problem) Harald Bluetooth united the religions using joint venture sculptures and monuments to give respect to both religious beliefs. WOW.
(L2CAP, BNEP, RFCOMM, Almighty Asynchronous Gods of heaven rejoice and sing hymns to whomever!) Mr. Bluetooth allowed for the first time open evangelism of Christianity into the North-lands. This is a considerable feat at anytime in history. Mr. Bluetooth united a large group of people regardless of religion, culture, language, or manufacturer profile adoption IE: A2DP. The parallels are astounding, and of course, very humbling.
Harald's original name was Harald Gormson, the Bluetooth was maybe a physical reference to Dark skin, but most likely, Blackened (rotten) teeth.
Harald had bad breath and that was the reason most priests left the negotiation table quickly after conceding defeat. As negative as that sounds, it is still easier to think of this fine chunk of human flesh as Harald Bluetooth rather than Mr. Gormson.
But I digress.
Ironic at best, the blue jewel that we put on our ear (one jewel, one blue tooth..lol), and use so much, would personally reference the old kings rotten teeth or eventually rotten tooth. One of life's ironies, or greater mysteries?
Who Knows? I am Sure any post humus recognition would be welcome in any case.
